Sign facings

Sign facings refer to the material that covers the front of the sign, visible to the public and displaying your sign message.
There are different materials for different sign applications, we will be able to advise which is suitable.

Generally, permanent traffic signs will be faced with high quality 3M HIP or DG3 - these exceed the minimum requirements for sign reflectivity prescribed by the DfT.

Generally, temporary traffic signs will be faced with 3M High Intensity Workzone (Class RA 2) or reflective engineering grade (Class RA 1) All other signs which do not require fluorescent/reflective material will be faced with vinyl.
