Regulatory signs (600 series)

Regulatory traffic signs are intended to instruct road users on what they must do (or not do) under a given set of circumstances.

The 600 series are a range of signs that are used to indicate or reinforce traffic laws, regulations or requirements which apply either at all times or at specified times or places upon a street or highway.
Usually symbolic regulatory signs are circular, or roundels.
Speed limit signs, stop signs and keep left signs are the most common type of regulatory signs seen on UK roads.
