Design of traffic signs
Morelock Signs Ltd offer a full design service to customise standard signs and create bespoke signs to customer specifications.
The Design Team produce high quality technical working drawings of Road Traffic Signs and associated products.
Their substantial knowledge and experience of the sign industry standards and regulations, supported by their qualifications in technical and graphical design enable them to produce quality drawings of the highest standard.
Drawings are sent out to customers either by fax or emailed as a .pdf file. Usually they are sent as black and white technical drawings, however full colour is available upon request.
All designs are carried out on the latest AutoCAD design draughting package and graphic design packages such as CorelDraw & Adobe Photoshop (please check with us for compatible file formats and software).

The drawings can be of variations of standard signs or entirely original designs incorporating images, logos and badges. Customers may often wonder why designs we send back to them for approval have changed in layout and/or size from the design they originally submitted to us. |

Our NEW sign design feature shows traffic signs with common mistakes explained and corrected.
The design team work to British Standards Specifications, BS EN 12899-1:2007 & BS EN ISO 9001:2000 accreditation system. All designs specify size of lettering, reflective capacity and overall size and dimensions. The Design Team are certified to NVQ level 3 in sign design (compulsory qualification) and are led by Senior Technician Alan Chester (Design Manager).
The software currently under development by the design team:
Moresign: Autocad based, is used for the design of Road Traffic Signs.
Moresize: a sign sizing utility used by the sales department.
